About Us

Hi, I’m James, the person behind The Coping Crew.

I started The Coping Crew because I’ve always felt that humor can make difficult things feel a little lighter. Life can be messy, overwhelming, awkward, exhausting, and sometimes the best way to deal with it is to laugh at it for a second instead of pretending everything is perfectly fine.

The Coping Crew is all about creating designs that help people openly and light-heartedly express the struggles of ADHD, anxiety, overthinking, burnout, and modern life in general. A lot of the ideas come from real feelings, real experiences, and the kinds of thoughts many of us have but don’t always say out loud.

My goal isn’t to make fun of mental health struggles, it’s to make people feel understood. I want the designs to feel honest, relatable, self-aware, and sometimes a little absurd in the way life itself can be. If someone sees one of the shirts and thinks, “That’s exactly me,” then I’ve done what I set out to do.

I also believe humor can help reduce stigma and make difficult conversations feel more approachable. Sometimes a joke, a design, or a shared feeling can remind people they’re not alone in what they’re dealing with.

At the end of the day, The Coping Crew is about connection, honesty, self-expression, and finding small ways to cope together, one design at a time.

Thanks for being here.
